Client Information and Specialization

I specialize in helping individuals grow in the wake of significant events and changes.

Many of my clients come in experiencing psychological issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, aimlessness) as well as behavioral changes (e.g., fearfulness, reckless behavior), as the result of some specific transformative experience or transitional stage. Examples of these events and changes include:

  • Traumatic experiences

  • Changes in significant relationships (one’s own, or that of a loved one, such as a parent)

  • The loss of someone close

  • Job changes

  • Entering new life stage

  • Religious transitions

  • A major medical diagnosis

Not just supportive counseling: My therapeutic approach is specifically designed to help individuals holistically integrate destabilizing experiences into their lives. Together, my clients and I use these significant experiences as jumping-off points for deeper explorations of meaning.
